I hold a PhD in Health Psychology, conferred by the University of Otago, New Zealand, where I developed a mindfulness program to support people with advanced cancer in navigating life’s challenges.
Before that, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, where I was first introduced to health psychology and clinical practice, sparking my interest in psycho-oncology and palliative care.
Working in end-of-life care exposed me to health issues like dietary concerns and anxiety-related overeating. Researching further, I discovered mindful eating, sparking my passion for mindfulness in well-being. Since then, I’ve been writing a book and developing mindfulness sessions to help people build a healthier relationship with food.
Currently, I offer one-on-one mindfulness sessions, drawing on my PhD to tailor each session to individual needs, all grounded in scientific research.
